So I know I'm way late to be putting on our Halloween pictures but life has been a little busy.... So here is a quick update. The NS Football team had a playoff game on good old Halloween night so we celebrated with out daddy this year instead of going to the game which was three hours away I decided to take Jake to my aunts house where we had lots of fun with our cousins. I felt bad that Dev missed it this year because he seemed to understand the concept a little better and was pretty fun to watch...Oh Well such is our life. So for those who care North Summit took State for the second time in a row. Ya Hoo!! GO BRAVES! And Now....we roll on over to good old Basketball season.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Soooooooo.... Its a girl and am really excited but it feels kinda weired. I had to buy something as soon as I found out because girl stuff is so cute and fun. When I called Dev to tell him he said he was going to have to get tougher and I said why? His answer..... because nobody is going to date her! kinda funny!!

I totally admit I might be the worst blogger in America...So I'm updating my blog so that my sister in law (Laura) will stop making threats and making me feel so guilty about not updating. Jake Turned Two and I just cant believe how fast he is growing he is smarter then a whip. We are definitely at that point where he is repeating everything, and I mean everything we are saying and doing. We really have to watch our mouths. I wish I could blame it all on Devin but Jake started saying "OH HELL" and i honestly could not figure out where he had learned it because Dev doesn't say that(don't get me wrong..he says worse) anyway I was trying to figure it out and then it happened, the little bugger was playing in the tub and he started to splash water all over the floor and there it was.......I said it "Oh hell Jake don't splash" I know, I know its bad but I can tell you after telling Dev that it was from me and his comment was "I'm just glad it was you that taught our kid his first swear word." Iv been better. Foot ball season is almost over which seems like its gone pretty fast the Braves have been doing really well they have lost 1 game to Manti but we still have 2 more to go in the regular season before playoffs that is which Dev was saying the last game of the reg. season will be hard its Juab for those who really care...anyway I'm just glad homecoming is over it might be the longest week ever. This month is going to fly right by with Conference weekend which I might add I love. It always motivates me to do better and reminds me how blessed I am to have the gospel in my life. My little sister Kristy is getting married on Saturday and then my other little sister Kimmy is having her first baby at the end of October and then Halloween which might be my favorite holiday. Oh Yeah........and we will find out what we are having!!!! In case you didn't notice that is my way of announcing that we are expecting again. Exciting!!!! I am do March 22nd which wasn't planed but we are now excited about it. It came as a little shock at first but it really is good timing Jake will be 2 and a half and Dev will have just finished up with the coaching season. So were pretty excited. scared but excited!

Jake likes to do everything his dad does lately so he will walk around the house like this after church. Our future missionary.

Summer is over

Summer is over....Football has started! I cant believe how fast its gone. The North Summit Braves first game is Friday so last weekend I made Devin take me to dinner on Friday night because it will be our last Friday night to do what ever we want for the next 6 months, from her on out we are at Football games/Basketball games. Which is OK I'm really stating to adjust to it a lot better then I have in the past. We also celebrated our 7 year anniversary which seems so crazy I defiantly don't feel old enough to be married 7 years. speaking of marriage my little sister Kristy got engaged...HIP...HIP...HORAY!!! We are very excited for her and we love Brian and also wish him lots of luck, love and many many patience. Ha Ha I'm really just kidding:) I would have to say the funnest thing we did this summer was take Jake to Lagoon. It was like I was enjoying it as much as he was just watching him love it so much. I'm sure Devin would probably disagree he would say the Oakley Rodeo was fun which it was I was surprised how much he liked it. Thats basicly our summer in a nutshell!

OK so I admit it, i am really bad at this blog stuff. I'm updating my blog for my sister in law who wrote me a comment telling me it was time. I just don't really think that my life is that exciting I'm not sure what to write but there has been a few things that have happened like Dev finally Graduated with his Masters in June we are so excited and very proud of him. He is a pretty busy guy any way I think he is wondering where he found the time do home work. Jake took swimming lessons a few weeks ago it was not so fun the first few days but he grew to like it so much that the last day of his lessons he was jumping of the diving board. I did not like that but Dev told me relax! So the 4Th came really fast and I had another birthday.......I'm staring to not care to much for my birthdays, I think that come with getting older. I usually pull out the birthday card about 3 weeks prier to my birthday. Making sure Dev doesn't forget that its my birthday there for, he has to be extra nice and helpful around the house and oh ya give me what ever I want for my birthday, but this year I was way better, he even noticed that I wasn't abusing the birthday card this year......who knows maybe I'm maturing little by little in my old age! ya right .

A Little Preview

We are bloggers.........kinda.
Heres an update on the Smiths
We moved into our new house 4 weeks ago and yes, its in Coalville. We officialy have roots. Devin and I have been married for almost 7 years in August, where has the time gone? We had Jake August of 2006 and we can't believe he is going to be 2 this summer. He is our little buddy! Dev is teaching at North Summit High School, as well as coaching football and basketball. He is also just finishing up his masters degree at the University of Phoenix. After two years of teaching, coaching and going to school it will be over in June......thank goodness!!

I am just working at a salon in Coalville and trying to keep up with Jake and Devin's schedule and of course loving my new house.....I guess im boring.

Jakes favorite thing to do right now is to ride the do do (four wheeler) with his dad! He loves to play ball, of course, and play outside all day.
